Turism&Travel : Award-winning Corinthia Hotel Budapest hosts major exhibition and symposium for Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association

Friday 21 May 2010

The five-star, award-winning Corinthia Hotel Budapest hosted the Virginia-based Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA), which held an exhibition and symposium from April 26-27, 2010.
The two-day event was attended by 500 delegates and had 48 exhibitors.

APRA senior vice president, Jeanie Magathan, credited the Corinthia Hotel Budapest for "an outstanding event." She said: "APRA president, Mr. William Gager, raved about the hotel, and Katalin Horvath, the Events at Corinthia staff person assigned to assist us prior to and throughout the APRA Conference. We, and all our exhibitors and attendees, were pleased with the excellent Corinthia trade show, conference, and banquet facilities. Most important, we were impressed with the first-class service, attention to detail, and warm hospitality of the Corinthia team. APRA certainly looks forward to the possibility of coming back to the Corinthia Hotel Budapest or perhaps to a Corinthia Hotel in another city."

The Corinthia Hotel Budapest is well known for its state-of-the-art conference facilities, one of the largest for a five-star hotel in the city, and its special Events@Corinthia program. With it's "Stress Free and Successful" event philosophy, every group organizer and meeting planner is provided a dedicated 24/7 experienced Events@Corinthia staff person to assist with all the needs and requirements of the group. Corinthia Hotels have become a top choice for the Meetings, Incentives, Conference, and Events (MICE) market, as well as for the corporate travel sector and has achieved peak performance through marketing and the specialized "Events@Corinthia" program. Another Corinthia exclusive is the Travelling Assistant Program, which is available for every organizer of groups with 300 or more room nights. The planner can have the same dedicated Events@Corinthia staff person who assisted them for their meeting in the first Corinthia Hotel, travel to a second (or more) Corinthia location prior to their next meeting, where they brief the new Corinthia team on the special needs and requirements of that particular group.

The Corinthia team is always looking for new ways to facilitate the meeting planners work and offer the ultimate in resources. With this objective in mind, Corinthia has launched the Events@Corinthia website , designed as a one-stop shop website for meeting planners, making it easy to search by hotel, destination, or date, and check for promotions and special offers available at all Corinthia Hotels.

The Corinthia Hotel Budapest, also known affectionately by its historic name, the "Grand Hotel Royal," is a city landmark and a member of the newly-repositioned upper luxury Corinthia Hotels brand. Its neo-classical façade, adorned with statues, columns, and cupolas, has graced Budapest's fashionable thoroughfare, Erzsébet Avenue, for well over a century. It was reopened in 2002, having been faithfully restored to its former glory as Budapest's leading luxury hotel, featuring a magnificent ballroom and the most extensive conference facilities in the city. With its lavish lobby, superb accommodation, a renovated 19th century spa, and various fine-dining options, it once more takes center stage, not only in this elegant imperial yet thoroughly modern city, but also among hotels throughout Europe.
