Turism&Travel : Madame Tussauds offer free admission to 9/11 first responders

Saturday 10 September 2011

NEW YORK - In commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the tragic events of September 11, Madame Tussauds announced today that all of its attractions in the U.
S. will offer free admission to any first responders (firefighters, police, EMS) and military personnel (must present valid ID) visiting on September 11.

"September 11 is a day the nation will never forget," said Janine DiGioacchino, Divisional Director, Midway Attractions, USA, Merlin Entertainments Group. "The offer of complimentary admission for first responders is our way of honoring and saying thank you to the brave men and women who selflessly protect and serve the people of the United States."

Madame Tussauds' offer of free admission is part of a nationwide salute to first responders, in which each Madame Tussauds attraction in the U.S. is participating — Hollywood, Las Vegas, New York and Washington, D.C.
