So TourCrafters, the Italian tour operator known for its good deals, is offering two motor coach Art Tours of northern Italy that will have not only an English-speaking tour assistant on board, but also a Russian-speaking tour assistant.

The 4-day/3-night Mini Art Tour departs Rome on Saturdays from April to October and visits Assisi, Siena, Florence, Padua, and Venice. All transportation is by deluxe motor coach; accommodations are in centrally-located 3-star hotels (Hotel Grifone in Florence and Hotel Continental in Venice); and daily buffet breakfast and three dinners, as well as service charges and taxes, are included. Sightseeing includes the Basilica of St. Francis in Assisi; all the highlights of Florence; the Cathedral in Padua; and St. Mark's Square and Basilica, Doge's Palace, and the Bridge of Sighs in Venice. The price of the Mini Art Tour is US$850 and there are special prices for children.

The 5-day/4-night Art Capitals Tour is a slower, more relaxed version of the same itinerary that includes an additional night in Venice and an extra breakfast and dinner. The price of The Art Capitals Tour is US$1,094. Note that TourCrafters can make pre/post hotel reservations in Rome (not included in the tour price).

The tours do not include transatlantic air fare or museum entrance fees. The prices quoted are per person, double occupancy, and are subject to availability. Reservations must be paid for within 72 hours of booking. A US$50 per person discount is being offered for the April 17, April 24, and all August departures.
